Two Steps To Getting Back On Track
Help someone else out with their health or even life goals. Take what you have learned so far on your journey to a better health and teach it. Yes you will be helping someone else out, but you will get the most in return. You will find a sense of joy and relief when you teach what you know about fitness to someone else. You will also find yourself motivated to get back at it.
2.Your One Thing
Get back to YOUR one thing. In order to find out what your one thing is, think back to your most recent success with weight loss. Now quickly, what did you do to achieve it? The first thing that pops into your head is most likely your one thing. For instance if the thought of consistent exercise came to mind, then you need to get back to solely focusing on that one thing.
This will do two things for you. First, it will relieve stress. It will remind you that you do not need to do it all at once. You don’t need the perfect meal plan, exercise routine, sleep habits, and guru coach at once. Second, it will produce a halo effect. When you make one positive habit, it is proven that others will follow. Only focusing on exercising every day will soon turn into a healthy diet, better sleep, and more positive lifestyle choices.
Apply these two principles to get out of your rut and to get back in shape! You can do this!
