Did Trump’s Win Impact Your Health?

By November 9, 2016Uncategorized

You stayed up late watching the election? Maybe you did some stress eating.. or drinking? You may have hit the snooze button this morning because of it and you may feel like your whole schedule is thrown off.

Guess what?

No one blames you! Common, let’s be serious.

  • There was just a time change
  • Thanksgiving is right around the corner
  • We are already being bombarded with Christmas stress inducing advertisements
  • This election is crazy and media isn’t making it easier
  • Oh and that candy from Halloween is probably long gone or tempting you from the cabinet

There is just a lot going on right now! There was a point today that I found myself caught up in the news and my Facebook timeline. After about 30 minutes of this, I was feeling so stressed that I almost canceled evening training classes.

So, do not beat yourself up when you start feeling overwhelmed or off track, because there is a way to get around this. There is a two step magic formula to getting yourself back on track when you fall off the bandwagon and it can literally change your life.

Before we get there, I want you to dig deep and ask yourself. Why did you fall off track? Why is it hard for you to see progress even though you work hard and mean well when it comes to your health? Is it that you just don’t have the right plan? Are you missing the support that it takes to make a huge weight/body fat change?

If any of these are the case, then you might be the perfect fit for Renegade’s 14 Day Turkey Trot. Two Steps To Getting Back On Track
1. Help
Help someone else out with their health or even life goals. Take what you have learned so far on your journey to a better health and teach it. Yes you will be helping someone else out, but you will get the most in return. You will find a sense of joy and relief when you teach what you know about fitness to someone else. You will also find yourself motivated to get back at it.

2.Your One Thing
Get back to YOUR one thing. In order to find out what your one thing is, think back to your most recent success with weight loss. Now quickly, what did you do to achieve it? The first thing that pops into your head is most likely your one thing. For instance if the thought of consistent exercise came to mind, then you need to get back to solely focusing on that one thing.

This will do two things for you. First, it will relieve stress. It will remind you that you do not need to do it all at once. You don’t need the perfect meal plan, exercise routine, sleep habits, and guru coach at once. Second, it will produce a halo effect. When you make one positive habit, it is proven that others will follow. Only focusing on exercising every day will soon turn into a healthy diet, better sleep, and more positive lifestyle choices.

Apply these two principles to get out of your rut and to get back in shape! You can do this!
